Provocative, heady and compelling - these are the dominant tones that suffuse the new work of two of Tasmania’s most enigmatic early career artists.
Now in its second year, SHOTGUN 2011 showcases the bold new work of Amanda Davies and Andrew Harper.
SHOTGUN artists are chosen through a flexible but rigorous process by a curatorial selection committee. Through the partnership and generous support of Detached Cultural Organisation, SHOTGUN provides professional development, funding and a program of critical engagement, offering promising Tasmanian artists a platform to examine the processes underlying their work and present the outcomes of this in a professional exhibition context.
