EXHIBITION DEVELOPMENT
FUND guidelines


The Exhibition Development Fund exists to:

> Assist galleries and arts organisations with the research of new travelling exhibitions
> Encourage innovative proposals for state and national touring exhibitions
> Encourage proposals that will significantly develop professional skills of individuals associated with or working within the initiating arts organisation

EDF grants can be used for development costs of exhibitions, such as:

> Enabling organisations to co-opt a professional, outside curator
> Contributing towards research and development costs, including: travel, per diems, administration, documentation, pursuing sponsorship and developing outlines for public programs


How to apply:

> Download application form (MS Word doc 996 kb)
> Include a separate application form for each proposal that is to be submitted. The application must correspond to the format of the application form. Late applications will not be considered
> The application form must be signed by an appropriate officer from the public gallery or organisation responsible for developing the project

Please contact staff prior to submitting application

Applications close in two rounds, February 28th and June 30th in each year.  Applications will be received until 5:00pm on these dates (or the next business day should they fall on a weekend or public holiday).
