CAST CURATORIAL MENTORSHIP
This is a professional development opportunity
for an aspiring curator to develop their skills under the
guidance and mentorship of CAST.
The successful applicant will work with
CAST staff towards the development of an exhibition
for CAST’s exhibition program. Previous participants
in this program have enjoyed the experience enormously as
well as benefiting their careers in the arts:
Mary Knights (1995) went on to curate the national touring
exhibition Whispers,
Lies & Text and is currently the Director of the South Australian School of Art Gallery; Jane Stewart (1998) became a curator for the
Melbourne City Council and is now the Director of the Devonport
Regional Gallery; Jessica Ball (2000) co-curated the highly
popular exhibition The Shed for CAST after developing 6=9
under the program.
The 2007 recipient is Carole Hammond
