Philippa Steele is a Launceston-based artist whose work seeks to explore the elusive space between public art, installation art and graphic design. Working from home and inspired by a mix of international and domestic adventures, she delights in community living. As an emerging artist she has exhibited several large scale installations in Tasmania, including Make Yourself At Home (2009) at the Moonah Arts Centre and White Wash (2008) at Inflight ARI. Currently she is employed as graphic designer at the Queen Victoria Museum and Art Gallery in Launceston.
