Linda Fredheim graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Art in Design in Wood from the University of Tasmania in 1992.
Since 1992, she has exhibited in numerous group shows in Tasmania and nationally, including The Port Arthur Project and Tidal Zone, a national touring exhibition, in 2007; Making Relations at CAST Gallery in 2006; Design Island in Sydney 2004, and Ensembles at the Object Gallery, Sydney 2001. She has collaborated with painter John Wolseley on several projects since 1996, including Tracing the Wallace Line in Bendigo and Sydney in 2001. She has completed numerous commissioned projects for industry and government since 1995.
Fredheim’s major solo exhibition, Order Under Canvas, an innovative mobile presentation of campaign furniture in a canvas tent, went on display at a range of sites across Tasmania and in Melbourne in 2005.
Linda Fredheim continues to work from her studio in North Hobart.
