Diane Allison is a Tasmanian-based jeweller, object designer and artist. After obtaining a Diploma in Art Craft and Design at TAFE Tasmania, she successfully established her own jewellery design studio in Hobart in 1998. Since this time she has lectured and presented at various events, and exhibited widely in both solo and group shows. These include exhibitions in Hobart, Sydney and Melbourne.
Allison’s work is represented in various private collections in Australia, the United Kingdom, the United States of America and Germany. Her work has also been featured at Sculpture Objects Functional Art (SOFA) in Chicago. In 2007 Allison was commissioned by the Tasmanian Government to create the State’s official christening gift for the new Danish Princess. Allison’s work recently appeared in an exhibition of Tasmanian jewellery featured at Singapore Fashion Week.
