My professional life began as an architectural draftsman drawing other peoples dream environments. I rarely ever saw or touched the finished product until I discovered hot glass in London. I studied at the Orrefors Glass School, Sweden and worked in Greenwich, London before returning home. Tasmanian Glassblowers was established in a shed at historic Clarendon House. Marriage and family expansion saw it relocate to its current home in Breadalbane. Molten glass has an undeniable seductive quality and for me, the inspiration is endless. Each piece is individually blown and sculpted in an open studio where people can watch. This tangible creativity is appreciated by all, including me.
