Lauren Olney graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Victorian College of the Arts in 2002. Olney created the web site www.beautifulagony.com, and Beautiful Agony screened at the 2004 Melbourne Underground Film Festival. Selected exhibitions include: Nasty - the group show that isn't very nice, The Church, Melbourne, 2005; Be Mine 69, 69 Smith St Gallery, Melbourne; Love, Collingwood Gallery, Melbourne, and Behind the Train Line, Henkell St Factory, Melbourne 2003. Olney’s work in 2003 and 2004 with Pink Sluts Performance included: Polyester Psychedelic Porno Xxx-mas Party 2004; It's a Love/Hate relationship, Lunch with a Super-Hero, and 2 trashed.
