CAST Gallery

Melanie Breen completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts with First Class Honours at the School of Art, University of Tasmania in 2005. Breen’s work was selected for the National Photographic Purchase Award 2005, Albury Regional Gallery, and more recently for the national graduate exhibition Hatched '06, at the Perth Institute of Contemporary Art. Selected exhibitions include: Paper Moon, a travelling exhibition for the Devonport Regional Gallery, 2005 – 06; Resonance, Entrepot Gallery, Hobart, 2004; Summer Selection, Plimsoll Gallery, Hobart, 2004. Breen plans to continue with postgraduate studies after a period of overseas travel.
