Marie-Jeanne Hoffner lives and works in Paris and Châteauroux, France. Since graduating from art school in Nantes (France) in 1999 she has taught in a private art academy in Paris and at the Foundation Art School in Châteauroux. Hoffner combines teaching with both a fine art practice and curatorial activities.  She has undertaken residences at Monash University, Melbourne; L'indre-Basse, France, Collège Marcel Duchamp, France, the Glasgow School of Art, and Port Arthur, Tasmania. Her work has been shown in Linden Gallery, Melbourne; Galerie Ludvic de Wavrin, Paris; Arteaspoon Galerie, Brussels and Project Room, Glasgow.
