CAST Gallery

Collective was an installation developed for the CAST Gallery by former Tasmanian artist Sean Bacon. Bacon’s art practice is focused on interactive works that directly engage spectators through either performance or sensor systems that are activated by voluntary or involuntary audience involvement.

In this exhibition Bacon constructed an installation work that combined digital and analogue interactive technologies. He took moving image and sound grabs from Internet chat sites and displayed them on several monitors throughout the gallery.
